Volvo Louisville is a renovation to an existing Volvo dealership in Louisville, KY with the intention of implementing the brand’s new design image.  The work involved completely removing the existing façade and renovating the showroom and shop while remaining open during construction.  The previous façade, composed of stucco with glass storefronts, was transformed into a translucent glass façade meant to evoke the icy forms and imagery of the automaker’s Scandinavian home.  Careful planning was required to design the façade and the necessary backlighting to ensure that the concept was executed flawlessly.
