Renaissance Village is a renovation to a 52 unit, 46,000 square foot apartment community on Jacksonville’s north side.  The project is owned by Ability Housing of NE Florida, a non-profit agency that is dedicated to providing affordable housing for families at risk of homelessness and is funded through the City of Jacksonville’ Neighborhood Stabilization Program.  The buildings, constructed of concrete walls and floors, required extensive renovation and improvements as they had been vacant for several years.  The project’s budget is $5.0M and was completed in the spring of 2012.
