Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is North Florida’s premier five-star beach, golf, and tennis resort community. Since the ocean front landmark first opened in 1928, it has grown into a 300-acre luxury resort with a full range of recreational amenities. Glenn Dasher was the Project Designer and developed the master plan and design to re-energize the core of the property to bring hotel guests back to The Inn. The Multi-phased renovations and additions have centered around four main areas — The Inn, the golf clubhouse, the surf club, and The Spa. The aesthetic intent for both the exterior and interior architecture has been to respect the existing context and develop an architectural language that references the oldest and most appealing architectural traditions of The Club. This overriding design idea, along with the concept to develop a seamless and rich pedestrian resort environment, has governed the design process on all renovations and new construction.
