This new Main Entrance for Jacksonville Zoo & Gardesn is an iconic entry portal and event space to welcome guests and communicate JZG’s message of environmental stewardship, wildlife rescue, and rehabilitation. It includes a new 20,000 SF covered plaza with an organic-shaped fabric canopy with integrated multimedia that opens onto a dramatic Florida River exhibit featuring Florida Manatees and other indigenous fish and animals. Additionally, the project includes a two-story retail building with assembly space on the second floor, and a one-story kitchen and maintenance building.
