ITERA International Headquarters

LOCATION: Jacksonville, FL

COMPLETION DATE: 2002

SQ. FT.: 60,000 s.f.

ITERA International Headquarters is a four-story, 60,000 SF office building built on top of a one-story parking garage. The exterior of the building is made of renaissance stone and architectural precast while the rotunda and decorative elements are made with GFRC panels. The historic-style column and trellis profiles give the appearance of a weathered classical stone building. To counterbalance the classic design, sharp edges, simplified architectural details, and the use of aluminum panels at the entry canopy and tower capitals were used to give the building a modern expression.

The interior lobby walls are designed with cherry wood paneling covers and stone to create a banding detail on the elevator walls. The fourth-floor build-out for ITERA begins with a 30’ high entry rotunda connected to the rest of the office by two gallery corridors adjacent to the exterior balconies. This arrangement provides exterior views for everyone as they move about the office while allowing individual office and conference rooms to also see across them.
