This project is a two-story outparcel furniture store in the Town Center area of Jacksonville, Florida.  DHA designed the new 84,000 s.f. structure and provided Baer’s Furniture a new look as they expand into the NE Florida market.  

The building envelope is made up of a palette of bright tilt wall panels clad in a stacked masonry stone with a warm standing seam metal roof supported by a covered portico. The design was composed to bring about a sophisticated residential feel for the premium furniture store. The exterior stacked masonry carries into the two-story atrium that welcomes you into the store with a glass elevator and an exciting ceiling design. High bright ceilings and open showroom spaces create a wonderful aesthetic as you tour the store and view their available furniture, ultimately creating a successful shopping experience.
