Jacksonville Beach Public Restroom
Location: Jacksonville Beach, Florida
Area: 400 s.f.
Completion Date: 2012
Designed as part of a comprehensive masterplan for the City’s public spaces and streetscape, this facility replaces an older structure where 2nd Avenue meets the ocean walk. It is a 400 s.f. structure with 6 public toilets and is designed to withstand the harsh environmental conditions of the site while encouraging natural ventilation. We feel strongly that, although it is a small structure, public architecture such as this requires thoughtful design solutions that benefit the general public equally as much as our larger commissions.
